I know. I'm actually shocked that all these lively and active people have disappeared. Maybe they're busy because it's Christmas. Sure they will be back........won't they?

Would you go in to Greggs and try and sell home made sausage rolls to their customers?
Well you lose your right to vote if you vote steam tower. Yeah seems like a good idea. ATM no limit are doing good things and I'm finding they are a provider I go back and choose all the time now. Used to be BTG but now no limit has overtaken them for me personally.
Hello GD community
Outside of my day job, as a hobby I like to diagnose and fix laptop or computer issues. I'll buy from eBay a laptop (these are my specialty) which someone deems as not working, do the repair and sell on for a small profit. I've been doing this on and off for many years and friends and family come straight to me when they have a problem. I enjoy the diagnostic mystery of it and there's a certain satisfaction to solving a problem. I can strip a laptop in 10 mins and put it back together (correctly) even faster.
So, why not make use of my knowledge if you ever have a problem. It's FREE of charge for the GD community. Most things are simple to fix. I can give advice or help you to make a repair. Whether you have a slow running system, software issue or hardware, it's up to you if you go with whatever advice I give.
Anything I advise or instruct can be found on the internet if you take the time and patience to look.
Feel free to post on here your problem. Sharing can create a knowledge base.
Haha nice.
I signed up with this name, so when I'm not in use I can have something to do. Just get sick of Jimbo burning food in me. Maybe one day he will clean me. One day.
Good read
My 2 pennies - I think the OP was reliant on the casino running no checks or asking for ID. He has stated he has played other casinos and withdrawn without having to provide documents. All gamblers want their money asap and he had plenty of time to submit the required docs but did not. Why? Maybe as Paul stated he is Gamstop. Maybe he was playing with someone else's funds or another reason that makes something amiss.
In relation to the casino returning the funds to the player account; I side with the casino. How long should they keep the funds aside, indefinitely? What if that ID never comes through? Also from the article from PokerSmasher:
Operators should also remember that they cannot confiscate a customer’s funds on the basis that they have not provided ID. Last year, on the back of action it had undertaken in the remote gambling sector, the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) provided its view that consumers are legally entitled to money which they have deposited in their account, to winnings made with money they have deposited and gambled, and winnings made from a bonus where the relevant conditions have been met (subject to AML or other regulatory requirements).
This is massively contradictory. I work in compliance and in order to comply with AML and Fraud regulations you must have ID verified as a minimum. The above statement makes mute the operators obligations towards AML which are clearly stated in the same article.
By keeping those funds ring fenced, you could argue that the casino are confiscating the funds which they are told they should not do. Kind of a catch 22 for the casino.
I think the only reasonable outcome here is that the casino refund the OP's original deposit.
I think it's a case of gamblers fallacy. I work in the casino industry and I know every single spin is entirely random. I've seen it before where someone goes from max stake (£5) down to 50p to try and "reset" the machine. I've seen people do this hundreds of times and I've seen it work but I've also seen it not work. I think in your case you will remember the times when you up the stake and hit a big win but how many times have you upped the stake and it paid nothing? People forget that stuff and only remember the positive things. It all comes down to luck in the short term and in the long term it's just maths.
To add to my post, I think as long as you enjoy the way you gamble or your beliefs in certain "myths" then it shouldnt matter. The issue comes when these fallacys start to make people gamble differently or beyond their means. I've seen it before, a big punter was winning big playing ponies in the casino. He started to believe that the only time he could win was when he played colour ponies on the live tables. I watched over a span of a year of him going from spending 10k a visit to doing £50 2 numbers £25 on each, that fallacy ruined him. I heard bandit say something in a recent video where he said he finds that slots don't pay when below £2 and he can only play magic mirror on a £5. It's just in the gamblers head and has no effect on whether someone will win or lose, session to session.
Excellent response @jimboscooker
The gambling myths and fallacies are of course widely believed and can actually be harmful to some problem gamblers.
Probably the most common would be surrounding the frequency of bonuses. These should be considered in exactly the same way as any other results that is entirely random. You clearly understand this however there are a lot of players who do not.
The stake has no bearing either except that where where the chance of a "pot" etc is weighted towards the stake.
The stated RTP of most slots is assessed after many many millions of spins and the odds of getting a bonus are exactly the same on each and every spin with the spins beforehand and afterwards having absolutely no bearing at all. There is no such thing as RTP balancing on modern slots with RNG's (Random Number Generators) although in the past when slots were less complicated there was a slight element of compensatory balancing to keep the payouts within certain limits. Gamblers very often overstated the importance/ impact of this though and it was often stupidly relied upon i.e. nobody has won for ages the machine MUST be due to pay out.
@weemonk the delay when a bonus or enhanced feature is awarded is a programming issue and may ot may not be intentional by the game developers however the outcome of spins are determined at the point the bet is placed and thereafter it is mostly all theatre. Jamming Jars once you gain the bonus is not at all random other than you would be awarded one a number of preset outcomes.
Irrespective of the bonus mechanic and whether you adhered to it or not it is clear that the casino ought to have handled this better. Casinos have to work really hard to acquire players and treating a new player like this (and ultimately losing them) is just idiotic on their part.
There are lots of other casinos and I am sure we all understand why you would no longer wish to play at this casino.
Congratulations everyone :)
