I've been checking back in now and again. Had some personal stuff happen on Friday 13th jan of all days. Been struggling with that so haven't really been interacting with any of my usual stuff tbh. Lost 3 and half stone since that date through the sheer stress off it all. Nearly out the otherside now though.

enough of my sad life lol, how are you Davey?

Sheeeesh that doesn't sound good! How you doing at the moment? Dms always open if you need to chat about anything!

All good here!

Yeah I've had loads of support from friends and family thankfully. Plus I've just been concentrating on my 4 year old daughter which has helped. Cheers.

I'm still here checking in at least a couple times a week, usually going through the big wins for inspiration for a game to play and lurking on the forum in the background. But moved house over the last few weeks (fucking nightmare) so haven't contributed much.

@jimboscooker   hey dude, don't know you but feel like ive 'known' you for ages, but shit, like davey said, you do have people here if you need us.

Still 2.5 seconds between spins though at UK casinos even with your sooper dooper speedy broadband.

All the world's a stage and most of us are desperately unrehearsed.

Been very busy recently with work and outside of work. Slots are becoming very samey and I want other things in life bar to play slots......we'll see how long that lasts (a week so far) 😂 I struggle to keep up with slot videos. Quite enjoying being busy actually although where is the year going already!

Lithium can keep the fire burning in the forum. I've done my share of that over the years. Let's see what the lads have in store and see what that changes.

Slots or gambling should only ever be something you do now and then. If it is the main thing you do in life, you would need very lengthy therapy sessions I think.

Also, remember that some of people do a lot of work for GD in the background and are not on the forum.

Kev, more gamblers than not say the 'safe' moral wording around gambling when in secret they can either struggle or gamble way past the moral high ground they mention. Me, never been shy of being honest - I've been to GA, counselling and Hypnotherapy over the past near 30 years. Learnt to accept that slots is something that will always be a part of my life now and do my upmost to not let it rule me. It isn't all I have in my life. I have as normal, if not better life than friends I know who struggle with their own non-associated gambling demons.

Bullshit that any gambler sticks to every now and then unless they have larger priorities such as a partner or kids and that half of the time is because they know they'd have explaining to do. If they do have partners and kids, good on them, just ever happened for me. They just kid themselves because of the stigma and degeneracy around gambling. It's a dirty secret half the time and not a social talking point when meeting people or out at family doo's.

At no point did I point at the lads or those involved in the background for not being active. Jimbo has put a separate post up so lets see what that brings.

There are casual gamblers. In fact, most "gamblers" are casual. Most people have self-control and act like adults when gambling and do it for fun.

The ones who either gamble too much financially or time-wise create the stigma of gambling. Everyone has priorities at different levels, but that's no excuse to gamble too much of course. I have no doubt that those who do not work or have more spare time gamble more than those with jobs/families, but it's no excuse for depositing too much. I feel sorry for those who have any addiction, but it's the person's own fault. Easy to pass the buck to others when someone has a problem.

I am sure Jimbo wants to put out more content, but its not easy. He prob deposits more in a month for content than most on here do in a year. I would suggest that we all just watch the content if & when it comes and not rely on it or moan when its not uploaded on schedule. There are other things in life such as books, movies, music, food, exercise, dressing up as a cupboard, rolling a donut into a male prostitute's ass, or whatever everyone is into.
