Kevin

Great post and no doubt from the place o

f real understanding.

I hope to that none of that half a football team are wearing blue - green is the colour. I was of course speaking in jest and I hope no offence was taken.

I just like to see a community and a forum that at the very least provides a stimulus for members to look in often enough to make a difference.

We all of course appreciate that this is not a cheap business to run but just because it is hard does not make it impossible.

The hurdles and barriers placed in front of the boys are no doubt a pain - even Bandit is struggling to get a place to play.

My post was intended as a discussion point and nothing more.

Jesus Kev. You need to read what people write.

A) Where in what I wrote did I pass the buck to anyone? I own my issues and mistakes in life and never blame anyone else if it is fault of my own. I actually said 'more gamblers than not' which gives way to those who can 'casually' gamble. You're the one who mentioned lengthy therapy sessions and guess what, in my instance I've been there.

B) Where have I ever moaned that about the lads not putting out enough content? I haven't. When I said 'Let's see what the lads have in store and see what that changes' that is in reference to Jimbo's post of today. Maybe benefit of the doubt and you took 'I struggle to keep up with slot videos' as me taking the piss when it referred to the streamers that I do watch and support and having been too busy to watch their videos.

Slots are a part of my life. Wish they weren't but it was the dice that rolled to me at 15 years old and I've had to deal ever since. Is everyone the same? No, of course they aren't.

I have a collection of over 500 movies, love my movies. I spent 20 years of my life clubbing. I have an amazing job and some amazing friends. The sort of stuff anyone has.

Anyway, fuck knows how this turned into something you'd see on The Bandit's forum. Not sure if you thought it was a personal attack by me but I apologize if you did......rolling a donut into a male prostitutes ass....how you came up with that is beyond me 😂

No offence taken  pokersmasher  I know it was a general comment and some banter! Yeah man, it’s not impossible to make content, it’s just that people need breaks financially and mentally! I know people out there are flat out obsessed with people like the bandit but I just think they need to take a step back and not put pressure on people to spend money on content. But it’s a very strange community, you know that.

@weemonk23 not once did I mention you. Read back. It was all general observations. No need to take anything personal. And no need to justify your past bad choices or events in your life. This is just an affiliation website man, nothing more, nothing less.

Stay away from those rolling donuts

There are casual gamblers. In fact, most "gamblers" are casual. Most people have self-control and act like adults when gambling and do it for fun.

The ones who either gamble too much financially or time-wise create the stigma of gambling. Everyone has priorities at different levels, but that's no excuse to gamble too much of course. I have no doubt that those who do not work or have more spare time gamble more than those with jobs/families, but it's no excuse for depositing too much. I feel sorry for those who have any addiction, but it's the person's own fault. Easy to pass the buck to others when someone has a problem.

I am sure Jimbo wants to put out more content, but its not easy. He prob deposits more in a month for content than most on here do in a year. I would suggest that we all just watch the content if & when it comes and not rely on it or moan when its not uploaded on schedule. There are other things in life such as books, movies, music, food, exercise, dressing up as a cupboard, rolling a donut into a male prostitute's ass, or whatever everyone is into.

Just to interject here, and sorry to be late to the party. But you are spouting some out right BS here.  “Easy to pass the buck to others when someone has a problem”. No I’m sorry but as someone who advertise gambling & outright benefits from problem gambling. YOU have a duty of care to said community to support these issues. Not to dismiss it as a problem by someone’s own admission. Of course it is not, every single person has their own relationship with gambling? If they didn’t they wouldn’t be here & I feel from someone who’s pockets are lined through affiliation you of all people should take a different approach.

I believe that everyone is in the boat here, we enjoy a community we like to watch content and have general discussion. As a community member we have the right to comment on the ghost town that has succumbed to gamblers den.

Everyone fully understands that content costs both money & time. That’s justified. Jimbo spends a great deal of time on here updating people and keeping everyone in the loop.

You make reference to the bandit who most likely affiliation is his biggest source of revenue and hasn’t worked a day in his life unlike everyone on this site, so to say “I can’t be arsed to post content” whilst reeling in YouTube and affiliation revenue is very disrespectful to a supporting fan base that puts food on his table..

No disrespect but do you work? Or do you just sit there and slate they very “gamblers” that you profit from? No malice I’m just curious as I found your post very rude.

The more I read the more annoyed I get. Sorry am I taking your remarks to literal? “But it’s a very strange community”. Strange in what sense? In that you’re happy to take their money but not happy for them to have an opinion? Mate, you have 800 subscribers, perhaps focus your attention on pushing your GRUBBY crypto casino affiliate links;

10/03/2023: “There is Crypto Casinos, for some of these you don’t need a VPN, some you do. (ILLEGAL) I personally haven’t had any problems, but you might have a problem in the future if using a VPN”. “But there are some really really good casinos there”.

Can you explain these comments please? As we really aren’t buying what you’re selling, so go ahead and mute please. 😂😂😂

Gamdom casino.. not allowed to use the in UK, on Gamstop? Nooooope. Why are you promoting?

Rollbit Casino.. not allowed to use in the UK, on Gamstop? Noooope. Why are you promoting?

For someone on the judgmental side I suggest you take a long hard look in the mirror my friend. I work every day, and would begrudge you taking a penny of my hard earned cash.

No morals. I can’t even be bothered to look at your other links. Yawn

Whoah, this thread got pretty real very fast, I'm gonna sit on a wide fence with this as I agree with points from both sides. I really don't think anyone is out there to slander what anyone has said but i think things have been misconstrued (is that even a word) on all parts.

anyway, my opinion (like it of not, might not even make sense as I'm a few beers in)

People have to make money to make content, yes. Streaming and affiliation is a way to do this, yes, should it be pushed to audiences to make the money, yes (but only the right ones), are these guys some of the most responsible people out there that are doing this, and warn everyone in every video that they publish the pitfalls of this, YES.

should every gambler take most responsibility for their own actions, a big fucking YES (no one made anyone click that button, the sites made it easy and inviting for us, I agree, I hate to say it..... but help has always been there In one form or another)

I believe that the The gambling community, as in EVERYONE who gambles, whether it be 10 quid a week to 10k a week is a fragile creature and SHOULDN'T be exposed to expectations that are beyond their expenses, a streamer that's been mentioned above,  going from a normal(ish) stake to ridiculous money beyond any normal person's means, without a basis (showing that it is earned and warrented) is down right irresponsible and should not be allowed, showing your deposits is one thing, but showing that the money has been earned is another. I take pride in allowing myself a gamble every month with money that I have earned through hard work, overtime, etc. But for someone to be able to gamble on just the back of other people alone and not have a real hard earned source of income to subsidise this is a bit of a travesty in my opinion, publishing vids every week and subsidising with real hard earned money, fair play, well done, thank you, but a video every 6 months once the coffers are full, on £20 spins to gamble every win, that person can get fucked.

rolling a donut into a male prostitute's ass, or whatever everyone is into.

I can't help but feel like this is something you could only think of if it was something you had first-hand experience of.  Not judging, whatever consenting adults get up to on their own time is their business.  Just saying.

Skipping back to the OP I guess the limited content from the three remaining GD streamers in the past few weeks will limit traffic to the forum.  Appreciate Jimbo & Craig are struggling for places to play & spin away more money on videos and Chris needs the break but without them advertising the site and reminding people to pop on it seems reasonable to expect traffic will slow (fwiw it was watching Jimbo's latest vid that reminded me to log on and catch up on posts). This isn't a moan, they all put out content for free, just an observation that IMO regularity of videos links to busyness of forum.

It feels like there is a limit to how much us as viewers can create in terms of new conversation around slots that will spark more people to post, more that it needs some input from the GD team to get the ball rolling and have others contribute within that... kinda like this thread has achieved I suppose.

And particularly with slots as they are in the UK at the moment, if the input is left to us viewers we'd probably just be overrun with moany posts about how fast deposits are going, how we're sick of zero bonuses, assuming we can even land a bonus within a few thousand spins! And I certainly don't want to make those sort of non-contribution to the party!

I tend to agree that even the concoction of such a scenario smacks of latent homosexual tendencies on the part of the author of this comment but each to their own I guess.

As someone who pops by here often and who does try to contribute to the forum it is disappointing that despite having over 6000 members that the forum is essentially populated by probably less than a dozen regular members. The introduction of themed posts or regular recurring points of interest to encourage involvement would only work when championed by the streamers.

One only has to look at the forums operated by other streamers to see how sparsely populated they are too. The forums with the largest volumes of posts like Casinomeister are almost entirely populated by the moaners and whingers. We all go out to socialise and enjoy ourselves and being landed in a seat next to the pub bore just encourages to go elsewhere - forums are no different.

Perhaps the streamers could start debate topics, whether humorous or serious on the streams, and engender a wider user base in that way. Please god though no giveaways that just result in two word posts from the folks who only want something for nothing.
