James, Craig
We have watched and supported you on your venture but as of late, whatever Gamblers Den is or was seems to have slowed down. There's no regular frequency of slots videos and the forum is hit and miss in activity. Is the Den becoming an afterthought?

The fact is that all streamers appear to be unmotivated at present for a whole raft of reasons. The content has become poor and the lack of any personality is strangling the viewership.
The likes of Hideous is not for everyone as his antics are largely predictable and there must be a large proportion of viewers who have just turned off. Bandit has left the buiding and Rolla hardly creates any content. This is akin to snooker without Higgins, White or O'Sullivan and relying upon Charlton, Thorburn and Ebdon.
Jimbo and Craig are clearly fed up and their content is jaded accordingly.
The reality is that this always the case in a crowded market where genuine streamers gain less traction as idiots like Ayezee churn out $50,000 bonus buys with funny money and the loathsome Chipmonkz just continues to create inane content because he is bereft of a personality. The workamanlike sponsored content provided by Azzi, Bob Slots, Spinitin and Angry Slots is only barely watchable however a chunk of the viewers signing up elsewhere dilutes affiliate income across the board.
Perhaps the ship has sailed now and the days where the incentive to spend money, family time and to deal with the business end of things is just no longer there.
I foresaw this outcome in an earlier post on this forum and that this was the route of travel if no innovation could be harnessed to refresh the content and make it far more viewer interactive. All the while the likelihood is that streamers will become more heavily regulated or hampered by ever more risk averse affiliate managers.
Tough times ahead no doubt.
Gamblersden was never an afterthought.
It's the pressure from regulators. We're fighting to keep our casino accounts open. Your average gambler in the UK is having issues depositing without being restricted, now think about how a streamer or content creator will play probably 10x more than the regular player.. we physically can't make the deposits in fear of account closures because of the UK regs. As a streamer in the UK you get no special benefits in terms of this.
Me and james will keep this website going until we can't.
I've made it quite clear i'm bored of gambling though and just can't be bothered.
I do get an itch here and there and thats when i record.
I refuse to force content for the sake of it and i think that should be respected even if it means the websites or channels die eventually.
But yeh we're just getting buried under all the fake shit and what not. I've accepted it.
I am enlightened to know you
I hear you on the bored aspect Craig. I had 2 weeks off and when i played again i really didn't feel like it. Only by laying new games and getting some decent wins did I feel the enjoyment. No point gambling for the sake of it.
Regulators are a ballache so good point. We're here to help out though! Have you looked at my idea about slot reviews?
This reply is solely for Craig and Jimbo
My previous post was not intended to cause any offence merely to provide my opinion. I feel that Craig may not have received it as I would have intended.
I had never intimated that Gamblers Den was ever an afterthought. I know and appreciate the time, effort and toil that goes into a site like this and it is certainly not for a member to belittle that effort. Notwithstanding the effort exerted though, the landscape is changing and that period of change will present opportunities as well as challenges.
The truth of the matter is that everyone will tire of the slots over time and the casino restrictions mentioned above are indeed becoming a barrier. The solution must be to provide more interesting content, even if it less frequent, to entertain and engage your viewers and to ensure that viewers visit your site as well as all of the others they may watch.
Perhaps the giveaways are not the best use of resources and these funds could be better used elsewhere. The effectiveness of a rolling monthly giveaway entered by the same 100 or so people each month has surely to be questioned as to wheher it offers any kind of value for money in terms of return to you.
This all takes work and maybe there is someone out there who you could use to co-promote content and provide a fresher perspective as well. This would relieve you of some of the burden and also provide new ideas and hopefully allow you to enjoy your own channel more too.
Im VERY new to online gambling but been watching and lurking for a long time and i signed up through one of their links to support them as streamers, if my deposits ( not 100,% sure how it all works) go towards them making content then that's fine by me, it's another YouTube vid to watch when I'm not gambling and its my entertainment I'm 'paying' for so why the fuck not, but, I ask, are the giveaways really nessecery to that extent (maybe it's the casinos rules they have to give that much away, again I don't know), but then ammount their giving away could cover the cost of a couple more vids a month. I get it, their giving back to the Comunity, but it still probably goes back into the same pot at the end of the day and they get back the watered down returns.
anyway, great content guys keep it up and as a new online player I am actually starting to understand how bad some of the new restrictions are, WTF is this 2.5 second rule on some slots, its my money, I should be able to spend it as fast as I want.
