The history of some gaming companies is shadier than others. Given the obvious influence that Pragmatic has over the proliferation of dodgy streamers doing bonus buys at eye watering stakes would it be a logical conclusion that they are and always have been less than straighforwardly competent and honest.
The old Topgame scandal was pretty dodgy indeed and i'm not sure how many of the people are the same folks now.
I personally question the casinos more than the providers, but in terms of the betting size etc I mean.
Providers should also be responsible on what they share on social media etc - like you say, pragmatic sharing The Hat Turd's 1m win etc..
I see a shift in terms of smaller providers, reaching out to me and other smaller channels to give us merch etc to giveaway to subs. I think that although they of course want us to play their game and share the experience, it seems to be a good sign, the fact they are willing to work with small channels.
Kevin,
Do you think that the casinos are accepting $50,000 bonus buy bets of their own volition.? I am certain that an unregulated casino in Curacao would do this but not those in regulated markets. This just stinks of an unethical organization creating false, misleading and irresponsible content on youtube etc for commercial gain. The dumb Canadian guy who seems to think that screaming different versions of the "f word" for prolonged periods before inevitably hitting a huge win is just a different and equally loathsome version of Roshtein.
The folks at Pragmatic Play, by supporting, condoning and empowering these absolute morons to put out these ridiculous videos are showing themselves to be the poor relations to the small cohort of excellent providers out there.
The UKGC should ban the games of providers such from being played in the UK as this and this would solve the issue of these unethical practices once and for all.

TBF it doesn't seem limited to Pragmatic anymore - also seeing providers like Hacksaw offering $100k bonus buys and even if they don't have buys, the likes of PlayNGo or Push offering $1k or $2k per spin on games is (IMO) not any better given how quickly you could spin through $50k and not even come close to a bonus.
Even if it is legit money, it feels obscene that anyone is playing at that level given the way 99.99999% of the world have to scrape by on!
