This company is way too stupid to be running a casino.

If the imposed deposit limit is £500 per calendar month why would they stop a player from depositing anything at all when there had been no deposits and the player was actually in profit.  Too dumb for words - another casino deleted

I got the same thing about 3 weeks ago. About a week later I got an email which read

So i went back to them and said

Hi support

Can you please clarify, are the 3 month statements in relation to the account I make deposits from or the one I have my wages paid into? I have a separate account for gambling away from my main account. Also, if my main account do you just need to see the wage being paid in or every transaction such as buying a chocolate bar?

They eventually replied

Dear Weemonk23,

Thank you for reaching out. Since you hold two separate accounts, we will definitely need bank statements in full from the one you receive your wages. As per your gambling account, you may send us screenshots that show the total transactions (total in, total out, ending balance etc). This information is usually available in the first page. For any questions or clarifications, do not hesitate to contact customer support at any time.

I haven't sent them anything. Keep the £500 limit which I assume resets monthly. If not, then another casino down the pan. For AML they only need to see where my funds come from, for affordability it should be set at 20 - 25% of income. It's bad enough CRA's are asking for voluntary linking of your bank account nowadays to assist with credit scoring. Bank accounts are private, I'd only share mine if I was making a mortgage application.

It should not be calendar month they set your limit, maybe their text is wrong. It should be a rolling 30 day deposit limit from either the day you made the first deposit on there or the day you signed up to to the casino. No casino I play at has set a calendar 30 day limit including Novibet. Check with them as this might be the case

Kevin, you are correct it is a rolling period of 30 days despite the incorrect text on their website. The thing is that my last deposit was in the early days of January so there should be no restriction over a rolling period either.

I get that they have to be cautious but they must get their systems right otherwise why would they send me a deposit match bonus and then restrict the deposit anyway

Yeah i know, they do need to get some things fixed, like most casinos!

I personally have never had any issue with Novibet but even my favourite casinos, them, William Hill and Leo Vegas are now putting restrictions on me and and small issues arrising.

William Hill have now gave me 2k a month limit, after depositing over 276k there since 2013,, Leo randomly gave me 5k limit even though i only have ever deposited £200 a month..

This is yet again fallout from the UKGC. Casinos of course dont want to be fined and are jumping to decisions before making sure they have done the process correctly..

Very annoying and more reason people are flocking to crypto sites
