Also, just to add to this, We're thinking of adding a requirement to the giveaways.. which would be a certain amount of forum post and community contribution just to make sure people are being active enough to justify the win for those who do not or cannot afford to deposit on the casinos

I gave thought to that Jimbo a while back and each time I think about it I am reminded of when there was a giveaway (not one of the main ones), I think by Kev, where entrants had to make 5 posts. Honestly I can't remember the exact detail but all we saw was randoms pop up, saying something irrelevant on the end of a thread which was barely a sentence.....5 times.....and they were never seen again.
I do get it, forums are old school social media. Not many people use them because they aren't an app, don't have notifications and for those that use Twitter, Instagram and so on, do not have the interaction or dopamine hit that those places have. I don't have any of the listed, quite happy to chill here with you lot.
This depends on how much you want to push the forum. I think anyone that uploads a big win, genuinely watches any of the Den streamer videos regularly, gets involved in chat in livestreams or posts regularly here are all good for entry.....whether they have made a deposit or not. That's a a lot of areas to check when verifying winners though.
I would rather the Den be as is than flooded with people posting because they feel it necessary only for the chance of having their name drawn. That's my thoughts. How about the other regulars?
This is one of the reasons we are holding off, we want to reward people who are loyal with entries, without forcing it
Agreed with points above, using the giveaways as a means to make the forum more active sounds great in principle but not sure there is much value if it drives volume rather than quality.
I suppose whilst there are (relatively) low volumes of entries it isn't a big issue. Presumably a decent chunk of the numbers are making some sort of deposit alongside entry.
No doubt a ballache to track, but is there more value in ensuring entrants are subbed / viewing / commenting on the YouTube videos, a little bit to bump up the ad revenue, but more so to push the GD lads higher up in the algorithm and in terms increase the total views to the casinos they are ultimately advertising?
Could be a good shout to have them more active on the youtube channels rather than the forum for the algorithm, as you said though could be a nightmare to police
