What happens to my cash balance?
We encourage you to withdraw any funds from your cash balance as soon as possible as your account will be inaccessible after 31 December. If you have not managed to withdraw your cash by then, you can still contact customer service (via support@casinolab.com and the HELP section on the homepage) who will assist you.
On 2 January 2023, we will proactively attempt to release funds in any remaining cash balances directly to the payment method on record. In the event that this is not possible, for example the payment method used is no longer valid, we will attempt to contact you via email to make alternative arrangements to return your cash balance back. If after a period of 6 months, we have not been able to contact you, Genesis will donate any remaining cash balance funds to charity.
What happens to my bonuses?
You will be able to use any bonuses between now and 6 December 2022 after which you will no longer be permitted to place wagers on our site and your bonus will be forfeited.
What happens to outstanding bets?
After 30 December 2022, you will be able to contact Customer Support via email support@casinolab.com to address any questions you may have.

Only those that are reputable and have a strong betting market will remain - Ladbrokes, Coral, Unibet, Paddy Power. Grosvenor have their land based casinos so they aren't going anywhere.
The exit of brands will also assist in strengthening the rest of the market. Those crazy remaining Genesis players in the UK will move over to elsewhere.

The cumulative effect of these departures will result in less choice and much poorer offerings.
To put this in perspective of the 27 casinos promoted on this site over half are under three licences, White Hat Gaming (7), Progress Play (4), Aspire Group (4) & Skill-on-Net (3).
Were there to be many more departures, and there will be, the pool of casinos will drop sharply. One only has to look at the offerings in the likes of William Hill, Leo Vegas and Ladbrokes to see how poor the players are being treated.
We will be left with the option of those operators bereft of innovation such as Ladbrokes or 888 with zero customer service skills and run by accountants or alternatively the well run Bet365, Flutter or The Stars Group who will ultimately drown out these others are end up with virtual monopolies. They will operate under UKGC rules with the cushion of 10-20% edges.
Shame, they actually did some decent bonuses
It's a shame to see Genesis leave the UK market, it seems to be a trend now. It will result in less choices for the UK players.

another rule that hasd nothing to do with gambling but is pissing me off the customs has decided without telling or even asking the norweigan pop. to half everything that we can buy oversea's (in another country ) and get into the country so i can now kiss goodbye to my 5 pack of 50gram tobacco's now im only allowed 125grams of tobacoo such a pointless thing , i dont drink but the drinking cultre is a shameless one they half everything smoking realedted but increase the alchole you can bring in taxfree .. so 1st they mre or less are changing gambling laws (again) on 1st of jan and the custom take 80% of the joy of getting to buy some "cheaper wares" arcoss the countryline , and then they have increased the electricity bill so much i gotta either have warmth in my house or food they increased it 1000% over last year calling it appropiacte increase to suport the current system , and also yet again increasing all food products (again) 21% in price (and introcusing cheaper ingredience to make the food cheaper but prices go up )O_O
what a great time to live in norway , question here for me is are they trying to make us less then rich (poor) folks have to move out of norway to survive, i have no clue but the contant up in price on everything i am forced to leave my home country by 2025 as i cannot afford to surive with my income (rant over)
