Pretty normal actually,
To prevent money laundering. Doesnt factor in an early huge hit you want to cash tho
Not being a criminal mastermind (shame) I never really understood how this would help you launder money... I mean, surely dumping £100 in an account and then withdrawing a sum at or marginally over that to the exact same bank account would be totally traceable and therefore no good for cleaning money?
Perhaps I've just watched too many TV shows and films where the focus is very much on cash-rich activities to launder funds - which was supposedly something FOBTs were driving, particularly when they allowed £50 spins so you could clean at high speed.
big fk scam casino wagering your own cash is scam
This is pretty standard, I remember I had a nice early hit when I used to play at Casumo and they cancelled with withdraw until I'd wagered my deposit at least once
I had an early hit on Bigger Bass Bonanza and had a few spins on some other games before withdrawing.
I cannot genuinely say I had never seen this term before and perhaps I was just surprised to see the email. I had wagered £93 against a £100 deposit.
In fairness to the casino they allowed the withdrawal and for me it is not common to have such a short session.
I think that posting this was more of a heads up to folks to make them aware that if they get a first press bonus that pays big ( we can all dream) that there is a remote possibility that an immediate withdrawal may not be trouble free.
