Does anyone know the actual ins and outs of stake casino?

i know it isn't available in the UK yet so would require a VPN, but are they actually ok with it?

I remember emailing the support and asking them before signing up to see if it was allowed before depositing and they replied with some paragraph basically saying do not at any cost attempt to try and play outside of jurisdiction, which includes the UK.

The last part said

An attempt at circumvention includes, but is not limited to, manipulating the information used by Stake to identify your location and providing Stake with false or misleading information regarding your location or place of residence.

Which to me says do not use VPN's or lie about you residence.

Basically, are they actually ok to use as it seems a lot of people do, and upon sign up what do you put as you adress etc (assuming they'll require all the usual info)

Sorry for the lengthy opener. Seems crypto casinos and VPN's are making quite the appearance and I've seen many people asking all sorts of questions about it too so figured I'd see if there is any help/advice/guidance anyone can give.

Good post. I'm interested too as i want the option of bonus buys. Craig seems to have had no problems.

So after a little back and forth with an actual idiot from the stake support, i checked out the T&C' of stake and gamdom.

I have (and know many other people who have) used Gamdom a lot with great service. Deposited, played and withdrawn (all pretty much instantly as it is crypto)

It seems they are basically exactly the same and their T&C's say that playing from the UK is not allowed.

They also day that the use of VPN's are also not allowed...but they word it as such so they do not have to use the actual term 'VPN'

When speaking to support, they never actual saying you cannot use a VPN, even after being ask as directly as possible. Instead, they just say they do not support it so it is at the players risk.

What i get from this is that it's not really allowed, probably because it goes against UKGC rules (bonus buys, quick spins etc), but nothing can be done to stop you doing so if you wish. So the people at support don't say you can't use a VPN and play, but they also cannot say 'yeah sure, go ahead...loophole baby'

That's what I'm getting from this anyway, so it'll probably be fine...for now.

Still, interested in other peoples thoughts and also if I'm just totally wrong and speaking bollocks.

Since it's all still a bit new and we'd mostly all like to turbo spin the shit out of a game on auto play, it would be kinda nice to know if we're doing it with or without risk of having our accounts suspended while we have a balance

Do not play at Stake or any crypto casino if you are playing from a restricted country..

You are at their mercy if you do and have no protection or complaint procedure

I played on stake one time, their bonus has high wagering, I also play on Gamdom for about 7-8 months now, no problem till now, the only thing they ask me for Id to do large withdrawal after I won DOA2, I send my UK driving license 1 hrs later got approved 5 min later got the money.. Is a risk to play any crypto they can just close your account and take all your money.

The funny thing about gamdom is they advertise gamstop lol gamstop is only for UK players and they don't have UKGC license

P.s. if you play on any crypto start with a small deposit and try to build the balance like $6 bonus buy on DOA2 on $0.09

Worth the risk though to get back what the UKGC took

I have used Stake and never had an issue.. However, I am comfortable with the fact that when i deposit, they can restrict it any time. I guess thats the same with a UK casino also, but its more likely when using a VPN.

I work for a Canadian company and have a Canadian address I can use, so I cam covered in that way, but there is nothing stopping them from checking if I am using a VPN.

I personally would suggest that you don't risk it, but if you do, best of luck of course!
