Hey everyone...

To be honest I love watching online gambling... but I really REALLY try to avoid doing it myself because of the sheer amount of times I’ve chased and ended up squandering all my money. I’ll have the odd £10 deposit up to £50 deposit but only when all my bills are paid...

however.... I find that the bookies really is my Achilles heel! Everywhere you go there’s always 3/4 bookies on a street so when I’m out and about I honestly 90% of the time end up in them... and as much as I’ll have a go on the horses I ALWAYS end up blowing a load on FOBT’s. I don’t know why cos I’ve never won more than £300 on them but countless times done in £100 in 10 minutes. Roulette is the worse and with the £2 bar I’ve genuinely done in £100 with 2 spins and both lost!

just wondering if anyone else is genuinely glad the bookies are closed and I just hope and prey I stop going in when this is all over! I’m always in control of my gambling and never lose more than I can afford... but that feeling of walking out completely unfulfilled and £100 down is just so sickening! Been really nice not having the temptation!

thoughts?

FOBTs are the worst. The RTP on them is significantly lower than online slots and it's easy to get sucked in and lose all your money. I'd advise only bringing the money you need with you and not your card and excluding yourself from the main bookies on your routes. Maybe try and figure out how much money disposable cash you'd spend on them a month and try and save that up towards something.

I used to play arcade a lot. That's because when playing online I found it too easy to do all my money in a really short amount of time and also arcades can't be done at the clock of a button. Did far too much money in.

Started watching streamers and when I realised you should look at the x win rather than amount I realised how silly I was to play in arcades with a shit x and capped. Never been in one since.

Just think, if you play in a bookies the chance of winning or pulling back a loss is minimal in potential to online. It's pointless. Stick to your mentioned online limits. Better chance
