How many UK regulated online casinos are there accessible to UK customers?

The answer may surprise you.

Would this be inclusive of all WHG brands or are WHG counted as one?

I had actually meant the number of different front facing casinos but the query is valid.

Just the main licences then so WHG would count as one although it is actually two, White Hat Gaming and White Hat Gaming International.

The answer will surprise you then. It is slightly more than eight

I would like to ascertain how many different online casinos are currently actively operating in the UK where UK residents can access these regulated casinos

The Gambling Commission’s response to your enquiries are as follows:

would like to ascertain how many different online casinos are currently actively operating in the UK where UK residents can access these regulated casinos

Section 21 of the FOIA provides that information is exempt where it is reasonably accessible elsewhere.  A full list of casinos can be accessed via the following link and filtering by “Casino” and “Remote” .

I'm guessing many of these aren't active - only looked at the top of the list but places like BetHard left the UK market.  And there must be ones linked to individual land casinos too (ie there are 3 different Aspers).

CBA working it out but yeah, wonder what the true number is today... more than 8 but less than 232 :)

It feels like numbers are going down again anyway, looking at how many sign up offers can be found versus a few years ago.  No doubt will plummet further after the Oct 21 reg changes.
