Alright lads. I cashed out £400 earlier on lucky louis and got the money within 6 hours. I've just tried to cash out another £150 and they requested documents. However their system doesn't even allow you to process the withdrawal so now I can continue to gamble with that £150 while their verification team takes up to 48 hours to verify my documents. As you lads well know this is a major issue. I'm not sure but I believe its breaking some sort of regulation with the UKGC. I don't care it's only £150 so if I spunk it while waiting moreful me. (I won't out of principal) but what if it's another player who is attempting £1000 cashout or £5000 cashout. It's extremely bad practise. I'm not expecting youse to change their entire system but I wanted youse to know so you have the information.
Videoslots also do this.
Hi Jimboscooker,
I agree that it is a poor practice and it exposes the problem players to potentially gambling a sum that they had attempted to cash out.
Put simply this is just a red flag to players that this particular casino may not be as well organised as they ought to be. As weemonk has said VideoSlots do this too but that is only alongside the other poor practices they adopt. I made the decision a long time ago to swerve them.
I think we are all able to pick up on signs like this and should choose to play at sites that are better managed. A quality business would not allow this and that these companies do reflects poorly on them
Yeah 100%. I've actually never cashed out on lucky louis before so didn't know this was how they operated. Funnily enough the way I got the money is crazy. I got an email from them saying I had money in my account. I logged in and it was £1.05. just clicked the first game I saw which was big bass bonanza and I got a 4 scatter bonus on £1 first spin. Paid £500. Cashed the £400 and played for about 8 hours with the £100 going up to £200 and down to £50. Finally decided to cash out the £150 after I had received the original £400 and was hit with the above issue.
I won't be using them as my regular casino now I know they operate this way. I just hope the lads can have at least some minor input to stop this happening. All it takes is to let the withdrawal go through and then request documents so the balance isnt playable. Still think this is a aids way to operate and they should only request documents when you attempt a deposit (after they declined said deposit) we shall see.
Yeah my missus is having the same issue with a site called AztecWins at the moment, stuck a tenner in, won £320, wants to take it out, endlessly rejecting her paypal verification and putting the money back into her account to tempt her to spin it away.
Bit of a loophole regarding the old "can't reverse a withdrawal" malarkey isn't it?
Put a self exclusion on the account so they know you aren't willing to be tempted to spend it. They'll soon sort the withdrawal
