Is it just me or is the new series just not as good as the earlier series.

I cannot put my finger on the difference as the actors and actresses are every bit as good although Kelly MacDonald's character is just not as good as some of the earlier characters played by Keeley Hawes, Thandie Newton or Stephen Graham.

Hopefully it is going to pick up near the end but I am just not as grabbed at this stage as I was in the earlier series.

I havent read it incase of spoilers as I haven't watched tonight's episode yet. I saw the first line, yeah so far it's nowhere near as good. Stuff gets dragged out to the point where its shit. I hope they pull it back this season and end it. Prefer them to end it on a high rather than overdo it with too many seasons so it gets ruined. Except GOT, that shit needed another one or two seasons. Stupid fuckers.
