As i'm typing this i'm currently doing a bonus hunt at a crypto casino.

I'm giving you guys the heads up as it will be going on the main channel.

I just want to point a few things out here;

  1.  Yes it is entirely my own real money, transferred from my bank to a crypto wallet and converted to BTC (bitcoin) (I'll always offer to prove this)
  2. I will never use fake money
  3. I will never promote or recommend anyone in the UK plays at a crypto, as there is zero player protection.

As most have caught on, i am bored and frustrated with our current situation from the GC etc. So i have found a way to enjoy gambling again and i will be getting backlash for this!

I PLAY AT CRYPTO FULLY UNDERSTANDING I HAVE NO PROTECTION. THIS IS A CHOICE I AM ABLE TO MAKE.

I only punt at crypto's every now and then when i have a decent balance for bonus buys etc so most of the time i'll be playing at the regular UK haunts.

Also, i will doing a vlog where i will take more in depth about the subject, so any questions drop them below.

Obviously i wont be answering anything to do with how to play at a crypto or the process.

Fucking legend 💪

About time some one done it.
I feel the gambling commissioner is ruining it for everyone

I love doing bonus hunts but from October I now need to sit there clicking a button for 5 hours, just to provide entertainment for others as auto spins will be a thing of the past. I can spin £500 on roulette but can’t buy a £20 all action buy or a bonus buy of my choice.
I see why you are doing it as gambling has not become fun as we are told how to spend our money.
What happened to the days you would throw £50 in a casino and spin on 60 - 80p and get enjoyment. Now I stick £500 and seem to get less for my money then I used too.
I see other streamers using crypto sites and collecting 50 bonuses in £200. But use a casino under ukgc like the other night £1000 bullet and managed 6 bonuses on 20p in £500 RIGGED!!!!
Bring back the enjoyment to gambling. Well done Craig

I must admit, you just playing at the site and uploading will inevitably promote the casinos in question so I'm 50/50 with it. I know it's real money and I'm glad you have said you will never suggest anyone play at these sites. I can fully understand why you would want to play at these unregulated crypto sites and I think in time more and more will move over but it's not a risk I'm willing to take. Don't wanna hit a 90000x win and then not get paid, which is always going to be a risk at these sites. I saw your tweets and I saw chip had made comments about maybe playing on them. We don't need people like him who promotes horrendous casinos to be promoting these high risk crypto sites.

You will not be able to tell where i am playing, only the slot window is in view.

I agree though.

I'm just fed up of being told i can't do this or that and i am having WAY more fun at crypto atm.

Craig

I think that I understand your rationale and the frustrations with the UK facing casinos however I think this is something youshould consider very carefully indeed.

No matter how many warnings you provide there will be some who copy you and probably end up getting into problems. Just look at the number of members here who struggle to comprehend the basics. You may not feel this way as i am sure there is a fair amount of abuse chucked at you. The fact is though that Jimbo and yourself are widely regarded as honest real streamers and dabbling with crypto casinos, no matter how well intentioned, is likely to end poorly and can only tarnish a good reputation. There is in a likelihood no upside to this course of action.

Of course it's your cash and you are able to do with it what you wish.

If you are looking for interesting content consider carefully not falling into the trap of getting into a race to the bottom with streamers like Chipmonkz.

Looking forward to the video

Totally agree about UKGC,    this affordability limit is a right pain

I'm retired, i don't have payslips or tax returns

why should i have to give 3 months of bank statements to a casino based in Malta  not paying UK taxes ?

I can walk into a bookies ( soon hopefully) and piss away a grand with no bugger asking me if I can afford it

😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

Big loser I agree mate but also think sites like unibet are a joke. I had to prove my income to unibet to play . After they proved my income they set my limit at 99k a month. But other sites set mine at 4K a month. But how can you enjoy gambling when being told what you can do my videoslots ask me proof of income weekly now. Cant just fire up and enjoy a gamble now.

£99k a month is beyond ridiculous and just beggars belief. This just demonstrates that they are only going through the motions to feign proper compliance.

The reality is that for any UK facing site the real solution is a "gambling passport" and this can only be issued by the UKGC. This may be big brotherish however i have long advocated it is the only sensible way forward to protect all parties. The technology is there and it's really not that hard to see if there was political willingness.

Even restricting the ability of money launderers and keeping players to preset limits would far outweigh the costs of administering it.  The reality is that the casinos and players would ultimately pick up the tab anyway.

Taking everything on board..

I'm actually going to upload my crypto adventures to a seperate channel.

I'm not going to link in to GamblersDen in any way, and my target audience will not be anybody in the UK (never was meant to be)

I just hate gambling and not sharing it.

Don't know anything about Crypto casinos. I'd be interested to see though.

Think converting money to crypto and no protection would put me off trying but i agree with EssexSlots, getting worse to play now. Games struggle to bonus. I'd love to buy a top feature on a No Limit City game

Craig has said he has never nor would never actually promote a crypto casino. Begs the question on when is it up to the person to take responsibility for their own actions?

Crypto Casinos are a topic that clearly divides opinion, mainly due to the plethora of fake streamers out there using it as their base of operations for their dodgy pragmatic play huge bonus hunts. That being said I think there certainly will be some aspects of a crypto casino with many benefits over your conventional casino, such as anonymity, provably fair games and low transaction fees.

Bitcoin and other crypto is becoming more and more prominent in society, is it hard to believe that there could just be some that offers a legitimate means to play with crypto. Sites like Stake, which sounds as reputable as they come as well as being a registered UFC partner.

Even conventional UKGC Casinos have been called dodgy. Read the reviews for just about any casino and you'll see a lot of negative reviews, mostly from people who probably didn't read the bonus terms correctly and broke the rules.

The UKGC is making it increasingly hard for players and streamers in the UK. I say that as long as there is no promotion then there isn't a problem. Craig is obviously aware that he's doing so at his own risk, and any concern for people who follow suit should take a look at themselves and decide on whether they're an adult capable of making their own decisions or easily influenced children that blame any subsequent problems on everyone but theirselves.

The many benefits  such as anonymity (well if you are a drug dealer laundering cash that would be a positive), provably fair games ( please help me understand why on earth you think an unregulated casino will have provably fair games when so many unregulated/rogue sites operate on terms so undeniably adverse to the players in almost every respect possible). The fact that there is no-one to police them to keep the games provably fair is a huge problem and lastly there are no transaction fees at most UK facing casinos.

To many the lure of playing anonymously with no background interference will be a huge positive only partially offest by the fact that any large win might never materialise with no recourse will be a risk worth taking. Tell that to the millions of players who lost cash on Full Tilt, America's Cardroon or Absolute Poker because they were endorsed by reputable TV celebrities. That the UFC aligns itself with a casino genuinely matters little, it's just an income source to them.

pokersmasher  The problem is there is no middle ground at all.

The games are liscensed from reputable providers. Unless those providers also offer an unfair rigged version then this one is hard to prove.

(with the exception of the built in games such as mines and whatnot)

In the terms of fees though, most casinos charge a rake in some fashion, be that lower RTP's transaction fees or otherwise, they will get thier rake somehow.

Alternatively, while crypto casinos have minimal fees, (as layed out by the currencies market at the time mostly) ₿(XBT) and other crypto exchanges have generall huge fees from converting from fiat.
So its swings and roundabouts for sure.

Though I note, that moneylaunders do use crypto, but they'll have  job getting it through exchanges (which means they need to find private sellers and buyers)
Plus every transaction is publicly viewable as long as you know wallet addresses, soooooo, not a good idea to launder when you can literally trace every transaction.
If someone gets your master wallet address 9(or a program is written that could scan the blockchain for suspicious hoarders), or someone reports they were scammed and gives the address... super easy to trace.

Going back to the middle ground, sure you cant PROVE the games aren't rigged, and sure there are minimal fees (and awful exhange fees) but is it better than the alternative?
Losing vast sums of money still happens every day UKGC or not.

They are regulating all the wrong stuff IMO, they aren't protecting people, they are just pissing people off, and driving people to crpyto anyway. 🤦♂

EDIT: BTC -> XBT (correct currency symbol)
