Lads, I always appreciate you partnering with new casino's to give us offers but the RTP is running at 91%.
I already hear arguments about RTP and I will even admit that I've had a massive 7000x+ win on Tombstone at Videoslots which is the same for RTP. Yes you can still win but for me I don't play on sites with such a low RTP. I signed up, I will give it a deposit but not one for me.
Still liking Play Sunny though! Quality affiliate. MrQ is infuriating as the games constantly crash.
EDIT - Chatting with GameRoom who pointed out VS run at 94% (I always thought they were 91%) so the Tombstone hit doesn't count! 91% is just poor!
Hey man, first game i loaded to check rtp, Rise of Olympus - play n go ..obviously😂 anyway its running at 94.51%
tombstone running at 94.2%
Yeah, it's important not to judge a site on one of two RTP's. Best checking over a larger amount of the games to see what they offer.
I loved playing at Leo and Vidoe slots but the RTPs are getting way too low. It was never a major concern for me in the past but since becoming a streamer/content maker, its more important.
Well gosh darn it! I checked Book of Dead and it said 91%. I can't check others unless I deposit. Strange! 😵
I had a short visit yesterday and withdrew the funds afterwards but the demo version of BOD shows 94.25% - still bad but not 91%.
I'm not in the mood to deposit to find out if the real play version is on a different percentage to the demo version.
£2.50 to withdraw as well.
The RTP on the demo version is 94.25% yet only just over 91% on real play. As Book of Dead is one of the most popular games that is quite shady.
As you lads know, this market is near to impossible right now.. go back 2 years we probably would have brushed over this casino based on the £2.50 withdrawal fee.
In reality, it's actually mostly fair (not top casino territory) but they will look after people we sign up and no funny business, you get what you see.
We're just trying to keep this alive and expand, i wish it was as easy as before
I'm gonna deposit later so I can have a browse. The RTP was from the free spins on Book of Dead. You can't access demo mode unless you have some format of balance.
We're not trying to tear down anything you provide Craig, just feedback. Hopefully when I deposit I'll see 94% across the board, if I don't then not for me but others will be happy to play somewhere new. Appreciate you finding new places and veering away from WHG brands.
Your potato avatar gives you character Craig. You can never go back to making a video without it now.
That’s a potato is it; I thought it was a used bog brush.
Appreciate the reply Craig - as weemonk already said it is not intended as anything other than feedback to other members. A few other of the major UK streamers are promoting all kinds of trash that you would probably never go near
Deposited a tenner and this is worse than expected.
The PlaynGo's I checked were on 91%
The BTG game i could find was 96%
NoLimit are on 94%
There are no Pragmatic
The Hacksaw is the worrying one. Dead or a wild is on 88%!!! I checked the new Anubis one and that's on 92%.
Sorry but not for me. Way too much inconsistency there and the Dead or a Wild is disgusting.

only UK casino with 96% RTP bet365 Betway Virgingames and betfred most of their RTP is 96%
Some of the others you quoted are just terrible though. I feel that the PlaynGo strategy of offering these low versions is going to harm them in the UK as the differential is such that players will notice and just play other games instead.
For anybody reading this and thinking it’s only 3% you probably do not realise how much less time your cash would last it is materially less.
Just on the above Virgin Games (and all the Gamesys group) have lowered their Pragmatic RTP and had lowered the PlaynGo, although the latter seem to have gone back to the 96% versions recently.
It seems the difference between demo versions (always on high RTP) and live versions (now regularly lower) is a decision of the providers rather than the casinos. Guess understandably they want people using demo to practice playing games at their very best in order to see if they like playing them enough to play for real money.
Still a sketchy way to operate though IMO. And makes a mockery of any of those people that claim RTP makes no difference. If it doesn't (which is clearly nonsense to claim) then providers would happily have demo and live RTP at the same level.
Sad times that so few people are holding the line at the higher % now :(
Running through an RTP calculator for the 5 different versions of Book of Dead that are out there.
This is how many spins you'd assume to get on average, if you deposited £20 and played at 20p per spin, and carried on playing until you had less than 20p in your balance.
- 96.21% = 2,613 spins
- 94.25% = 1,722 spins
- 91.25% = 1,132 spins
- 87.25% = 777 spins
- 84.18% = 626 spins
So essentially if you shift from OG BoD to the 91.25% version, which is becoming ever more common, you'd be getting 56.7% less spins for your £20 deposit.
It's pretty mad when you see the numbers in black and white... sure, we're never going to play the billions of spins needed to fully realise the stated RTP, but most people on a slot forum are going to play many thousands of spins every year so it's reasonable to assume that we're likely to get close to these RTPs (unless we hit a 300,000x max win). The change to how much 'fun' we're going to get for our money is massive.
Even the more common Pragmatic shift from c. 96.5% to c.94.5% will mean over 1,000 less spins (on average) from a £20 deposit playing 20p spins. One simple change by casinos and bang, increase their take from us by over a third.
And scary to think that this may only be the start. As I understand it the regulatory changes in Germany mean that most places are below 90% now for slots. That's definitely a time to quit slots for good!
