The attraction of Extra Chilli was always in the ability to buy a bonus and gamble up quickly, now that you have to potentially grind the bonus and ether accept a potentially dire 8 spins, which historically have paid very little, or gamble a bonus you have spent ages getting, will this slot be played much anymore?

hi mate. you're right. the biggest attraction for chilli was the bonus buy being 50x the bet size. I think it's probably the lowest out there and the potential of the game just at 8 spins is insane. let alone gambling it to 24 spins. I think now people have to grind the base game for a bonus makes it less likely for people to play it and if they do I cant see them gambling it so much anymore.
It is. Sad it's gone but also happy. I hardly ever gambled, as I'd loose most of gambles so I used to always take 8 spins. I've had o wins, I've had almost/money back, a bit of profit and I've had huge wins of £300 at 20p buys from 8 spins... I have been lucky to get 20 spins too from gambles, but those have been shit, I've had 20 spins and only 1 win... many times! I've had 12, 16 spins and they've paid me fuck all. Most being 24 spins and again, I would get money back (£10 on 20p buy)... I've had biggest wins on 20p buys with 8 spins basically and I've had fuck all on 16, 20, 24 spins...
If they've removed the buys they should remove the complete loss of spins on gambles too. It's the most fucked up thing when you loose a bonus... this should not be allowed.
I do see your point. if you gonna remove bonus buys then why not remove the risk of losing your bonus with a gamble. makes sense. however if you've had that many wins on 8 spins maybe it's worth just playing every bonus without gambling
For me it's dead - i never played the base game so it's as good as invisible for me now. Chilli was built for bonus buys there's no doubt about it. BTG have taking a huge hit in revenue from the removal of buys from their games i can guarantee that!!
But yeah i wont be playing it. And i also feel relieved knowing i can't slip into my old ways and load it up - subsequently spunking any balance i have.
