Yes, I saw this elsewhere and yes, I am aware that Chip has done scratch card videos before but come on......12 minute video. I know most on here will quietly read but not comment which is fair enough, especially those that stream but it has to be said once more he is a complete degenerate.

I don't say that because of his dodgy dealings but because in gambling terms he is a degenerate. I can say that because I have never been shy of being open about aspects of my past and at a point in my life I was a degenerate. I got a grip though.

If it ever comes crashing down for Chip, he'll be the sort that loses his family and house and so on. I have no idea why anyone watches his content and I feel sorry for those that watch live.

True story this I used to watch chip few year ago and the was a lad that was constantly asking for help of chip and chip told him to email him an he will do what it takes to help anyway each week the lad would leave a comment on YouTube asking chip to reply so one day I had a  pop at chip for it basically you told this lad you was helping him then blank him but always put up you'd help to make yourself look good . Anyway that lad ending up finding me on fb an I helped just in talking to the lad chip then banned both the lad an me for calling him out on his bullshit. Don't like him comes across fake not real in his video

TBF I have wondered how any of the regular streamers (including those on GD) would cope if the income stream ever got turned off.

It's easy to not be a gambling addict when you can get the buzz funded through legit affiliate income (ie those here) or through some dodgy casino paying you directly/refunding losses (the $1,000 a spin crew), but however strong you are mentally it must be incredibly tough to completely bin off high stakes gambling if/when they are forced back to playing off 'traditionally' earned income.

Also, TY to the team here for not yet giving in to the never ending use of close-up shocked faces for the video thumbnails... Maybe I'm just old but I always think they make the person look a total bell-end 😅

I once did a thumbnail like that for a joke and i could not upload it, It made me feel sick even doing it as banter.. its beyond pathetic to have your face on a thumbnail like that.

In terms of your comment on  it must be incredibly tough to completely bin off high stakes gambling if/when they are forced back to playing off 'traditionally' earned income

I understand your point, but I think that those who are gambling to win big and have fun, approach it all differently from those who are creating content solely to get views/sign ups. They are not gamblers, they are salesmen for casinos. You can tell by the games they play that you never really win big but that keep your balance close to what it was, sop they get longer content - fishing frenzy/Eye of horurs/Montezuma and all that garbage.

So for me, whether I am using my own salary of affiliation money etc, there is no change in approach for me at all. And no matter where the money comes from, I will always stay in control and not be reckless depending on where the money has came from

Thanks for the response.  I suppose I'm thinking more of the Chip's of this world where they've escalated to silly money being thrown about, where it must be hard to ween themselves off that buzz of high stakes hits when they clearly came into it as gamblers (low stakes on their own funds) and are potentially now masking a problem thanks to the hard earned affiliate money.

You'd hope that the fellas keeping it real on low stakes are at a level that it'll be affordable even if streaming was banned and they were playing off a standard 9-5 income... which is why I don't sit watching the crazy money stuff and stick to the sort of content put out by the 4 of you on here!  Even with Craig and Jimbo, the more irregular nature of the videos suggests they are well aware of their business model and the fact they can take bonuses to minimise the eV hit in a way non-streaming bonus exploiters would do 👌

I think amongst the many things that happened to Chip was the fact that he kept reasonable stakes at one point but very rarely hit big money. I think he saw others around him smashing in high end thousand, if not tens of thousand wins and that got to him.

I used to watch him but rarely live and you could see it getting to him. To get those sorts of wins you need the money behind it. Remember the Captain Venture hit he got, think £40,000. That was the dopamine hit he needed. In reality he only got a 1000x win as he was doing £40 stakes.

You said it right there  shakinaces  , all about the business model. You are confined to what your income is. You want the bigger wins you need the higher income. It's rare you see the boys here going crazy. Granted Craig will now and then when he's built a balance but I think he knows on those videos he's spunked when he should have taken. Hard for any of us to live within our confines, I know from experience. Even now I struggle sometimes to stay within confines.

Yeah for sure the Craig / Jimbo way makes total sense (even if it's still baller by my standards!), take a shot when you've spun up a bit of a balance and if you do hit that unicorn win after you've taken a small number of £20 spins then happy days.  A world away from depositing a huge wedge and jumping straight in to £10+ spins when your normal play is pretty much capped at £2 or lower.

Kinda like the days of playing poker, got to take the occasional shot at the next level up if you are running golden and spot an opportunity, but not be too daft to step straight back down if it doesn't work out.
