I tend to stay away from games that allow you to gamble your hard earned spins for more, gamble cash for spins or allow you to lock a reel for money (most Oz games).
Given how hard it is to get a bonus sometimes I think it is out of order of the providers to include such a function. You want to ban a bonus buy, ban these games also. Once again the UKGC having no idea of the industry with their inconsistency.
Oh, all games should have a bonus guarantee as well.
Rant over.
Yeah I got caught by one of them slingo fucking games the other day. Seemed reasonable to keep paying the 20p 50p £1.20 to try and get the £200 jackpot. However I ended up paying £35 a spin to win a £200 jackpot. Makes you feel like you need to keep on gambling.
The UKGC hasnt a clue. Like you say being able to gamble and lose your bonus is ridiculous, especially when you see how tempting the gamble is for the extra potential you can get.
Yee, I stay away from games like Goonies when you need to gamble bonus for a better bonus, I am playing more in Crypto casinos I just don't have nerves any more spin for hrs in UK casinos to get a bonus
Hi weemonk,
That's definitely a good policy if you are on a bad run for sure.
There are a few games where the player in naturally disinclined to accept the basic bonus or the lowest bonus on games like Centurion Megaways or Wubba Lubba Dub Dub simply because the basic bonuses are dreadful 99% of the time.
For me the worst offender is undoubtedly Vikings Unleashed where the bonus takes forever to land and then you get 24 chances to lose all of it.

agree on Viking crazy game
The bonus buy point is great, if all slots could be like Primal and give a full retrigger for less than 10x that would be mint.
I think the gamble function on bonuses was what drove them to ban bonus buys. As thrilling as it can be, Craig has proved on plenty of occasions that Extra Chilli can absolutely have your pants down and there are loads of examples from things like Vikings and Pop games of similar cases where people are burning through 10+ buys without ever actually getting any spins.
If you are going to ban the function though, there would need to be a big overhaul of the feature selection to justify those games still existing. For example, on all those Blueprints it'd be jokes if it remains the case that (seemingly) 80% of the time it offers you the bottom bonus, but now you don't even have the option to gamble it up to something that may pay over 10x!
As for Slingo still being allowed, that's just mental. Still think on the time I was playing one where it was happily taking 20p or less from me each spin, then suddenly escalated to something like £320 for a single spin. I can't buy a £20 bonus as a 20p slot player, but I can buy a single spin of a bingo machine for £320? Right-o.
Yeah! I am also aware of such gambling games. It is hard to find some good online casino websites nowadays. Luckily I have found a list of verified online casinos on ralfcasino.com, and I don't need to worry if I will have problems withdrawing the money. I already had some experience playing in a fake online casino. I played for several days and couldn't withdraw my money when I had one thousand dollars in my account. I was furious, so I started searching for information about this on different forums and found that I was not the only one with such problems.
