Does anyone have some advice for me, fun casino requested my documents after I had made roughly 15-20 deposits and after I had requested 1 withdrawal. I gave them all the documents they requested but now they are asking for a screenshot of all my PayPal details because I deposited £10 on the 1/07/20 using my old PayPal account. I don't use PayPal anymore. They are now telling me I need to contact PayPal to request the information from them. I'm not doing it. They have said they will withold my withdrawal (£250) if I terminate my fun casino account. So I'm at the stage now where I'm just going to terminate my account and take the extra £250 loss.

They have said that if I decide to terminate my account they will indefinitely withold my money. Absolutely sick of some casinos abusing their power.

They don't have a leg to stand on.

Point out to them that the Paypal deposit was nothing to do with you latest deposit and subsequent withdrawal from that. Advise them that you have provided proof of the method that your latest deposit was conducted by which then covers for possible money laundering or act of fraud. Tell them that the time to verify the PayPal account was at the time of deposit. Ask why, after 20-30 deposits they have only just requested ID verification. Advise them they are going against the practices of the UKGC for for treating players fairly and that the matter and that where money can not be held if you request to close your account. Advise this will be raised with the UKGC and take that action. Do not give in even if this takes a while to resolve.

Same old story of a casino being happy to take your money without checks. As soon as you withdraw they want to do checks.

Yeah I  pretty much have said all that, wasn't even going to give any documents until they had sent me.my money because they had reasonable time to ask for my ID on the deposits I had made. But I was like I'll not be stubborn and give them the stuff they want. I won't be giving them anything to do with PayPal, especially since I last used it July 2020. I already have a complaint in for the initial request of documents and for them witholding my money until I give them what they wanted. I'm going to add to it the fact they are now saying if I closed my fun casino they would in effect steal my money.

Sent them the link from.the UKGC that shows they are breaking the regulations but they brought up the bullshit spiel that they have a legal obligation. But funnily enough only when I withdraw. Not when I deposit.

Been back and forth with them all evening now. Tomorrow if they are still not going to send me my money then I'm just going to tell them to close my account and they can keep the money. Too much stress over £250. CBA with it.

They are saying it's a legal requirement that they get all payment methods used on an account. They aren't going to pay.

Send an e-mail to Paypal explaining the issue and forward on their response to the casino.

At this point, if they are still refusing to pay, close the account and make them aware that you have taken all reasonable steps to comply.

As far as I understand it they would be obligated to return the balance to you unless there was a real suspicion of criminality. Given the documentation provided thus far it is wholly unlikely they could support this assertion.

Five minute email and no need to stress about it.

Asked my account to be closed and all details deleted. They said under GDPR you have the right to request deletion of details but we are regulated so we need to keep them for 5 years.

They have said my account is closed but they will not be sending my money.

Craig or Jimbo? Can you help in anyway at all? Like I truly believe what they are doing here is illegal or at the very least breaking regulations set forth by UKGC.

They said it can be reopened anytime because they can't delete my details. So it's a temporary closure is what they called it. IE a way around not having to give me my money.
