A story of two different flukes. I'm a croupier working at the new Hard Rock Casino in Ottawa. Last June I was dealing Ultimate Texas Hold'em to three players, 2 of which were regs and a man who was a supervisor at the Montreal Casino. The guy from Montreal was playing for about three hours when his buddy shows up to tell him it's time to leave. "Perfect timing" , says me because I was changing the decks after one more hand. I'm waving my hand across the table to close the bets when Montreal guy fires out a 5$ chip to play the progressive jackpot. He hadn't played it once in the whole time he was there. I bet you tell where this story is going. Of course he flops a Royal Flush! Talk about perfect timing! Guy pays for the progressive once and hits total of all bets...…$341,027.50...….wtf...….so we wait for about an hour while surveillance checks the cameras and the supervisors check the shuffle machine computer and it's good! The 2 other players each received the envy bonus of $5000 each....the guy who won gives the 2 guys another grand each for luck and tips me $8000. So I get home after my shift and feel like playing some on-line slots. I open one of my accounts and there's 9 cents left in the account. Before I deposit I want to clear the 9 cents so I open Dead or Alive, the original one. I have enough for 1 spin......press the button...….F@#$ing wild line!!!! 9 cents pays 225$ plus I get the bonus...….Same day!
I don't which is the biggest fluke there. Good story
Unreal man! Well done on both counts! Madness
must have felt like a win dealing that royal wee done
