We all have different tastes in music and it might be nice to have all of our contributors send youtube links to the two most diverse selections from their own favourite tracks.

I personally like some totally random things that encompass genres and i think that most people are the same. Everyone marvels at those artists who captivate audiences with undeniable skill and talent. 

Across the generations there are the changes in fashion and the innovation of new artists to offset the familiarity of the established sounds nevertheless the real quality always rises to the top and is remembered years,decades and sometimes centuries later.

How often though do you hear something and think "wow what is that" only to find it has been around for years and you had heard it only by chance?

Perhaps if we could all post something that we all love that is not well known it miight just open all of our eyes to something we had previiously missed out on,

Damn good post.

There is French duo called Justice. Back around 2015-2016 one of their well known tunes was used on a commercial. I thought 'wow, what a tune, lets find out what it is'. Found out the tune was called 'Genesis'.

I downloaded an album called 'A Cross The Universe' but never got round to listening to it. One afternoon I put it on as Genesis was early in the album. To this day I listen to this album non-stop. It's an album recorded live and the tunes are such a different listening experience. I wish I had been there live.

I looked into Justice only to find they had split up. I was devastated. Rumours of them getting back together came and went until 2019 when they played Glastonbury which my friend went to and watched (I got him into Justice on recommendation). They released a new album and keep issuing a new track here and their. 

You'll probably recognise Genesis from the commercial but have no idea what it is.

I Seen justice live  Weemonk23  and they were excellent. Another decent french DJ is vitamin, he does a song called la rock live, which appears on my shuffle from time to time. ATM I have idles playing whilst I work for any punk fans

Two good entries that I had never seen before. I liked the Justice track a little better as the other track was a bit too "ravey" for me.

Jealous! I really want to see them. They played the O2 (i think) not so long back but couldn't get tickets.

if anyone has any trouble sleeping... there’s a pianist called Phamie Gow abs she’s incredible! I listen to “war song” almost every night and completely relaxes me to sleep.
