Anyone else tempted to go all in on Ukraine winning? I usually have a couple of bets on the show because if I'm forced to sit and watch the whole thing I may as well get some enjoyment from it lol, but this year the odds on Ukraine winning make it not even worth having a bet on any other country, taking my fun out of the whole show.
You need a man cave Paul. You should not be living anywhere that you can't escape watching that trash.
Ukraine's odds make total sense and, like you, it seems very tempting to go ham even at the current odds!
More confusingly, how the fuck are the UK favourites without Ukraine involved... are we no longer the country everyone in Europe hates?

I can recall watching things like the Eurovision Song Contest as it was then and Miss World with my parents as a small boy. Even then they were a bit naff but then again there were only three channels on the TV.
Eurovision became so well past its sell by date that it became the mascot of every minority group and has become a mouthpiece for fringe groups. Now do not get me wrong I would not be able to name you more than a couple of the current popular music acts today so I am not an expert on current trends at all. The little I do know is that this spectacle is no longer about music and the absolute dross performed there would get an audience nowhere else. The whole thing is a contrived political statement and stinks of whingeing self indulgent groups trying to make statements about whatever the most recent injustice they feel has befallen them.
For once there is a real injustice to refer to and the Ukraine will no doubt prevail in the voting, whether their entry is good or bad (of course it will be bad none of the entries are good), however this is both understandable to show support for Ukraine and to express disapproval to Russia. For that reason odds of 2-1 on seem entirely reasonable.
Sometimes the best value wagers are not on the events we like or even know a great deal about.
As a little aside, one of my favourite CD's is by an act who won Eurovision. Would anyone care to guess what it was?

Maybe if I said I was really really hungry Jimbo would take pity on me and pony up a Just Eat voucher or preferably maybe even the proceeds of a 40p bonus buy from a selected game to be shown on your next stream to the person who guesses the correct answer first (each member only gets one guess though).
Bit cheeky I know Jimbo!!!!!!!! but if you're up for it and everyone waits for you to agree to this the guessing can begin. I would let you know the answer in a DM first just to ensure fairness and so that I could not change the answer if the hamster eating Davey got it right.
Definitely worth a few ton on Ukraine if you can afford it mate.
