I just wanted to comment on the verification process at 21prive where you have to upload proof of ID and a proof of address.
The whole process to get verified was automated and I was fully verified within around 10 minutes.
This is so different to the experience at many of the casinos who take days and sometimes weeks to verify two simple documents and in turn usually causing delayed withdrawals.
Congrats to the casino on adopting such a streamlined process although the withdrawal has been pending for over 36 hours already. If the process is this easy to automate it really ought to be part of the initial sign up process for all casinos.
I went to do that but I was already verified. I assume because I am verified across many WHG brands and as much as they won't admit it, everything is centralised regardless of where you are playing.
Yeah I've had that on WHG sites where I've gone to verify my account and its already sorted. I always presumed it was because I had verified it on their sister sites
I think this is the first time I had ever had to be verified with WHG although I may have had to do with Playgrand a long time ago and just do not recall doing it.
My recollection is that verification for Casino Gods for my one and only withdrawal was painstaking and took a number of attempts (sending exactly the same copies of the documents) before my account was verified. This took around 10 days from memory.
Unibet never ever asked me for anything and neither did PartyPoker nor Pokerstars or if they did it was at least 15 years ago.
If the process is so easy though it surely must be a good idea to enforce such verification in advance to weed out excluded gamblers, underage players and players accessing from forbidden jurisdictions at the outset. Why would the UKGC not force all operators to do this as a matter of course?
