Just had the dreaded source of income off Casumo. Now my deposits show £54,543 and my returns are £49,754, now I have a £11,000 pay out off another casino (playgrand) from May. So my question is this should be enough to prove that I’m not in a deficit alone just from my winnings and obviously the winnings from Casumo. Any help would be appreciated as the minute I get the dreaded source of income I generally jack that casino in. I don’t think we should have to disclose personal information because I know they go on about money laundering etc, but they allow you to gamble away until it suits them plus I’m self employed

🙄 funny that!!

I think that money laundering is the primary concern but its presented as responsible gaming? I guess. Either way it could end up being a big faff, especially if you have to show winnings from elsewhere too

I’m just going to show the £11,000 hit and if that’s not enough it’s bye Casumo 👍

Im literally going through the same with them. My casumo account has been locked for about 2 weeks.

So far i have had to send;

  • Photo id next to my face
  • Bank statements
  • E wallet statements
  • P60

And they are still refusing to open the account unless i send my most recent tax return which ill have to do later on today.

I exressed my anger with the representitive and he agrees it has gotten ridiculous.

Apparently casumos reason for doing this is to protect themselves from any advance regarding the ukgc and responsible gambling march that its on.

can they legally asked for all of that and not pay any winnings surely just sending them a payslip are bank statement showing that you played with legal money from earnings are work they havent got the rite to ask for more have they and surely you could refuse and still they would have to pay if you proved the deposit you won off was legal money of say your wage

Seriously, at this point unless you have money stuck in the account it must be time to say screw this casino. I really don't understand how it can be a legal requirement to provide your bank statements, tax returns and P60 to an organisation where it will be handled by a completely random individual.

I have historically played in Bookies, although I am now going through the motions of blocking myself as the jackpots and decent wins seemed to be drying up considerably. I could potentially look at playing online but these sort of ridiculous rules just put me off. There is no point in pumping money into a casino with no guarantee that you will actually even be able to withdraw your cashout, due to some arcane rule, or their belief that the money that they willlingly accepted off of your until you had a big cash out was gained illegally

Just out of interest , if they decided you couldn't afford your deposits or that your funding lines were suspect would they return that money - nope, thought not.

All of the data they require in order for you to deposit and withdraw money should be resolved at the outset, so that you can play without any concerns regarding withdrawals. Not requested at the point when they have been hit with a mutli thousand pound withdrawal.

Totally agree.

They accepted my tax return and then decided because there we transfers between mine and my girlfriends bank account, that they want her to send in her documents and source of wealth to verify. I have 10000% declined to do this, and even our affiliate manager is shocked and can't seem to get my account re-opened.

I'm done with Casumo pretty much. How they can justify having all that off me i will never know. I will be writing a formal letter asking them to destroy every document of mine, let's see how that goes.
